Hi all,
My name is Ken Pillar and along with my Clydesdale Clyde I am travelling around Victoria in a horse drawn wagon raising money for the Australian Cancer Research Foundation. Together we will roam across the country for the next 2 years or so passing through towns and cities big and small with the aim of collecting $200, 000 for this very important cause.
I myself am a father of six, an ex-truck driver and although am not personally touched by cancer know that at some point in time most of us probably will be. I think because of that alone every bit of money raised is well needed and will do what I can to make it happen...
Of course along the way there will ups and downs, but filled with laughter and plenty of good times it will be an unreal experience that not only affects my life but hopefully others for years to come.
So with the help of many good hearted people along the way Im sure I can show that one person (and one horse) really can make a difference...... will keep you all in the loop and hope to meet some of you one day.
